Hmmmm…I’m 56 and work full time as an adult and graduate enrollment advisor. I started this blog in lieu of a journal.
My husband and I — both longtime newspaper journalists — own and manage two online news sources, The Bluffton Icon and The Ada Icon, so we do a fair amount of writing. We have two daughters (27 and 29), two significant 0thers-in-law, and a 4-year-old rescue Schnauzer named Ike.
I’m a runner (35 years plus), swimmer, seamstress, gardener, bicyclist, and — when time allows — I love to spend time in the kitchen.

Life from a slightly skewed perspective 
What a delight! You must be Fred’s wife? I have spent a haf hour reading from today, backwards – as far as I can get for now.
But, I will return – this is great fun! And I, too, journal….but must, after reading yours, be more positive, less introspective. I like this better.

As a former Blufftonite, I enjoy reading the Bluffton Icon and your musings; very picturesque. There’s always something that brings back memories.
